We are delighted that you’re thinking of visiting us in Canada, as there is a lot to discover and enjoy in our country. Our goal is to help make your experience here safe, comfortable and full of happy memories.
About your host family
Your host family will treat you like a member of their family! They will share their meals and everyday life with you. They will include you in any events and activities that they partake in. Your host family will show you many beautiful attractions in Niagara and will help you adapt to Canadian culture.
Just like you have your own hobbies and interests, so does your host family! We encourage you to come with an open mind, the willingness to learn and to try new things.
About your school
When you come to Canada, you will be able to join a class of students that are around the same age as you. You’ll have the opportunity to meet many new friends. While most of your classmates will be from Canada, you will also meet other students from a variety of countries, just like yourself.
At your school you will also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. These activities may include a sports team, an after school club or other group activities in your school community. There are so many extracurricular activities for everyone to enjoy, as long as you want to participate.
About Canadian weather
Here in Canada, we have all sorts of different weather. If you are here from September to June (a full school year) then you will have the opportunity to experience all very distinct four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Canadians find great activities for every season. So come prepared to enjoy.
